"We have caribou in the Kenai area, but nothing compared to the numbers in herds that roam in interior Alaska. I can go years without seeing a caribou sometimes. Then last year over the course of about 3 weeks I swear I saw a caribou almost every day, including two that hung out in my yard. I think they may have been off their usual route because I haven't seen them around since, which is a bummer because it was so cool to get to see them up close so frequently."

Alaskan Arctic: Caribou uses Hoffman California Fabrics batiks. This pattern can be made as an individual pattern as shown or combined with the other five Alaskan Arctic patterns to make the combination quilt.
