The Big Dipper and Polaris or North Star are key features of Alaska’s night sky. Featured on the Alaska state flag, these stars are part of Alaska as a place and a culture.

This kit features our in-house Wooly Mammoth yarn that is hand-dyed in Anchorage. Included are:

• 100 grams of 2ply Aran weight wool in Midnight Blue
• 100 grams of 2ply Aran weight wool in Northern Lights
• Big Dipper Hat Pattern by Burra Knits

There is enough yarn in this kit to make two Big Dipper Hats. Recommended size 6 (4.0mm) circular needles are not included.
